Why should I use the Amber Alert Registry?
The most compelling reason the Amber Alert Registry can share, is when conducting research with parents whose children had been the victims of an abduction, the universal feeling expressed by all the parents, was regret for not having the required information available immediately for law enforcement, wasting precious minutes. Regardless of geography, race, religion, age or economic situation, those parents affected were primarily concerned about one thing, saving time in a situation where every minute could be the difference between a positive and negative outcome. No parent thinks this can happen to their child. Unfortunately, it happens to the parents of over 800,000 children per year in the United States alone.
