You can consult nanny agencies for this purpose. Most well-known and established nanny services do not just partner with any nanny; many only work with highly trained and educated nannies, or at least ones that have a number of years work experience behind them. Nanny services can give you peace of mind.

You can find enough great candidates through friends, or you can use online services. But, your best bet is to interview as much nannies as you can. I strongly recommend that your child or children are with you during the interview.

And, don’t forget check references.
